Yang Le, Associate Professor and Ph.D Supervisor, is the principal investigator of the National Key Research and Development Plan for Young Scientists. He graduated from Peking University in July 2019 with a Ph.D. in Solid Mechanics. From 2019 to 2021, he conducted postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University. His research focuses on multi-field coupled solid mechanics, particularly the mechano-electrochemical coupling behavior of lithium-ion battery. He has published over 40 SCI papers in top journals in mechanics and energy fields, with a total citation of over 500 times. He has led several projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Young Scientists, the Special Financial Aid for Postdoctoral Scientists of China, and the General Financial Aid for Postdoctoral Scientists of China. He has also participated in key research and development plans by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Student Recruitment and Training: He recruits students majoring in mechanics, physics, vehicle engineering, and mechanical engineering. During their studies, he supports joint training abroad (funded by CSC) and encourages participation in high-level domestic and international academic conferences.
l Advanced Structural Technology for New Energy Batteries: In-situ experimental characterization methods and multi-field coupled numerical methods.
l Wireless Early Warning Technology for Lithium Battery Safety: Design and preparation of sensors embedded in multiple fields, cross-shield wireless transmission.
