Yuan Xujin is Associate Professor in Multiphysics Metamaterial and Intelligent System, at Institute of Advanced Structure Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology. He completed his MSc and PhD at Peking University (2006-2011), working on pattern formation in nonlinear wave dynamics. Currently, he is a doctoral supervisor in mechanics, intelligent science and technology, communication engineering. And he also serves as young editor of Journal of Scattering, Radiation and Transmission, committee member of Environmental Acoustics Branch in Acoustical Society of China, and project leader of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). He has published 35 papers on SCI journals with 864 citations and H-index 13, and has been invited as reviewers for 15 SCI journals.
He has a special interest in generative artificial intelligence system in communication equipment, sea clutter modelling, maritime radar detection, maritime security management and load-bearing structure. He is proficient in design Multiphysics metamaterials with wave scattering manipulation capabilities, including electromagnetics wave, acoustics wave and fluid field. Multiphysics metamaterials show a promising application value in future intelligent beacon, landmark navigation, searching and rescue. The wave field manipulation ability also make metamaterial a good candidate for adaptive energy gathering and generation.
