His research focuses on advanced testing techniques based on X-ray and optical methods, as well as the mechanical behavior of materials under multi-field coupling conditions. His work addresses the challenges of characterizing internal deformation and damage evolution in advanced materials and structures under simulated service environments. He develops innovative 4D in-situ testing and visualization methods to study material failure mechanisms and the degradation processes under complex loading and environmental conditions. His research also explores the mechanical response of materials subjected to multi-physical field interactions, including temperature, stress, and electromagnetic fields, with significant applications in fields such as aerospace, energy, and high-performance materials.
