Ren Ke is an Assistant Professor in Materials Science and Engineering, at Institute of Advanced Structure Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, based in the Thermal Protection Materials and Structures research group.
He completed his Bachelor's degree from the School of Power and Mechanical Engineering at Wuhan University in 2015, and his Ph.D. from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2021. Subsequently, he developed his two-year postdoctoral research in current research group. In 2024, he was employed as an assistant professor at Institute of Advanced Structure Technology, BIT. He has presided over a number of projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China. To date, Dr. Ren has published 52 papers in journals such as J. Adv. Ceram., Scripta Mater., J. Eur. Ceram. Soc., and J. Am. Ceram. Soc., his papers have received more than 1400 citations.
